It is said in the English language that โpractice makes perfectโ.
I ask you, โDoes practice make perfect?โ
I want you to define โperfectโ in your own view, to start with.
Also, what does it really mean to โpracticeโ?

In my view, doing something over and over does not necessarily mean you are practicing it, is it not?
Perfect does not exactly exist, in my view.

As a recovering perfectionist, I remember hearing it could be healthier mentally to replace the word “perfect” with “excellence/excellent/etc.” Perfect is a toxic word in my opinion.
As a former competitive dancer, (and also a former flute player), I can attest that practice is essential to mastering any craft. I am proud that I know what it is to dedicate yourself to something, to know how all the practice is rewarding as it culminates.

Practicing is definitely essential if you want to be good at something. But I also don’t believe in perfection as it can vary from person to person.
๐๐ฝ๐๐ฟ
Doing something over and over again is practicing it. Does it mean you will perfect it? Maybe not.
๐๐ฝ๐๐ฟ
I think the more ion practice the better. However – I donโt believe perfect is attainable. No one is perfect – although we strive to be better through practice.

Doing something continuously improves your abilities at it and acumen.
Perfecting is a bit subjective

I suppose it all depends on the context. But practice usually means some kind of forward improvement!
๐๐ฝ๐ thatโs it!
I still believe in this saying actually. I understand that you may not but knowing how to practice the right way is alaso important.

This is an interesting point of view. But for me praccticing definitely makes you become good at something. It may not be perfect but definitely better.

I used to believe practice makes perfect. Until I heard a new phrase – ‘Practice makes improvement.’
๐๐ฝ๐๐ฟ I love this!
Practice can be very important. It helps improve your ability to do something but doesn’t always result in perfection.

I think sometimes we strive for perfection, which is hard. I however do believe that practices makes us better and makes things easier.

Practice creates the right habit is more like it. One of the things we were taught when I was still a performer was to practice daily so that my body will create the habit. On stage, what you practice is usually the energy you produce when you perform.
๐๐๐ฝ๐๐ฟ
Practicing daily in my opinion makes you better at what youโre working towards so itโs possible to achieve perfection!

Now now now… Ntemid… You again made me doubt on my belief. But yes your point is true too.

Maybe it works in some areas like when you are in an apprenticeship. You master your skills over the years until you perfected your craft.

No such thing as perfect to me, practice makes progress!
